Mrs. Joan Betty V. - Georgia -  Thoracic and Cervico-brachial Neuralgia (C8-T1) and Fibromyalgia: "Extremely, severe, incapacitating, pain in the right shoulder, across back of shoulder, and down the upper arm, shooting pain toward the elbow [for four years]. Three surgeries were performed to remove bone spurs, remove swollen inflamed bursa, and to remove an area approximately the size of a half dollar of dead/dying muscle in the shoulder blade/back area. The problem was still here. The pain was the same. Dr. Gatell encouraged total healing from the visit. He prescribed a plan of vitamins and nutrients, with exercise and medications to control the pain. He also introduced the Infrared therapy on each visit. He instructed [me] to stretch each day to bring blood to the damaged area. I am on a reasonable exercise of stretching at least twice a day, with prayer to rush healing blood to my injured body and heal me. I walk two miles three to four times a week. With medications my pain is controlled. Sometimes I have breakthrough pain, but for the most part, with the medication,  I am now able to live again and function in a normal lifestyle, without incapacitating pain."
