Mrs. Karen R  - This is a very nice lady who came to me in January 2002 with severe intractable daily migraine and tension headaches complex. She had been treated by numerous doctors before me with little success despite numerous trials of medications. Unfortunately, her prior physicians missed her underlying Fibromyalgia, which I find commonly in intractable daily headaches. When I began treating the fibromyalgia and her migraine-tension headaches, she reverse considerably.

Here is her story:

"I initially saw Dr. Gatell in January 2002 for chronic migraines. I had previously been treated by 13 other professionals for this condition. At the time of my initial appointment, I was taking 390 mg of Morphine daily to control pain.

Dr. Gatell diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia at the time of my appointment. My morphine was discontinued and a new drug and diet regimen was started.

Since that time, I have improved greatly. My overall heath is much better. I am taking considerably less pain medication and my personal relationships have greatly improved. I am seeking employment outside the home.

I do not know where I would have been today, had it not been for Dr. Gatell. he is an excellent diagnostician and physician...He strictly controls medications and monitors closely.
