"Dr. Gatell,

I wanted to thank you for your help over the last two weeks.

When I came into your office two weeks ago. I told you I was on my last leg and you were my last hope. I was even sicker than that.

The programs, medications and directions you gave me for the severe fibromyalgia that I have, are changing my life around. I had been sick for so long that I had forgotten what is was like to have a well day.

I went to so many doctors and they all had failed to stop the symptoms that were plaguing me. The doctors did not even want to see me anymore and treated me as though something was wrong upstairs.

With all the time and guidance you have given me, I am beginning to like the world again and forgive the people who misjudged my illness.

My condition is improving daily: Headaches, diarrhea, burning eyes, stiffness of hands, joints, fingers, mouth sores, nausea, bloating, IBS, noise and light sensitivity, etc. - are gone.

Pain and fatigue are diminishing daily or being controlled with medication. Anyone out there with severe chronic pain or with fibromyalgia would be wise to beat a path to your door.

I am even beginning to use my mind again. I was so full of pain and so many other symptoms that I could not even think clearly.

I now believe with prayer and your medical expertise that I will continue to improve and reverse this disease/syndrome or whatever nasty thing this is.

I am now having dreams again about what I want to do with the rest of my life. I may even become the Engineer I was a few years ago.

You are a big man in more ways that one.

May God make a place for you in heaven for bringing me out of the hell I was in. See you soon.
